Vision Statement

Welcome to Bryn Mawr Elementary

Bryn Mawr Elementary School is a diverse and vibrant community of learners, serving students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.  We are committed to academic achievement for all students and aim to provide a safe and respectful learning environment. We focus our daily efforts on delivering high quality instruction and support students' social, emotional, and behavioral development through building relationships and the systemic support of Positive Discipline and Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS). We fully embrace the diversity that is our student body and value family and community involvement as an integral part of our students' education.

Every student will read, write, and do math on or above grade level and will demonstrate social and emotional well-being.

In  order to undo past injustice and prevent further educational harm, we commit to decentering dominant  cultural norms by continually examining instructional, social emotional, and family and community engagement practices. Further,  we commit to mitigating harmful cultural and institutional influences on our schools in order to create racially just and equitable classroom and school experiences in the RIZ.
