PTA COMMITTEES

Volunteers are needed and welcomed for all committees. Please contact President Catherine Ploue' Smith if you are interested in serving on one of the following committees:

Book Fair
Job description: Responsible for organizing volunteers to host a Scholastic Book Fair during Conference Week. Volunteers will help set-up, cashier and take down the fair.  Proceeds benefit the library.

Spring Carnival

Job description: Responsible for organizing volunteers to staff field events, games, ticket sales, and cafe. Held in May.

 

Family Movie Nights

Job description: Responsible for 2 Family Events, one Halloween (October) and one February.  Chair recruits volunteers to help with the theme, decoration, concessions, and take down.

 

Fundraiser Assistance

 Helps VP with fundraiser promotion, orders, collection, and distributions twice a year.
 

Health Screenings

Job description: Responsible for working with school Nurse to coordinate volunteers to assist with vision and hearing screenings in the fall, and scoliosis screenings in the spring.

 

Volunteer Coordinator

Job description: Responsible for organizing volunteers for social events throughout the year, including soup supper, staff appreciation, ice cream social, etc.
 
Labels for Education
Job description: Responsible for promoting the saving of Campbell Soup labels, preparing the labels to send and choosing the rewards with input from staff.
